Welcoming Staff, Creative Vibes, and Serene Location Create a Memorable Stay
My time at the hostel was made extra special by the extremely friendly and kind staff, particularly Sherbas and Mohan. the creative vibe of the building and the proximity to the beach and beachside cafes added to the overall serene atmosphere of the place. the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow travelers made my stay here truly unforgettable. One improvement could be to increase the number of washrooms for convenience.

Staying at Design Ashram was a truly unique experience - a creative dormitory oasis amidst the vibrant streets of Calicut. The beautiful hostel, with its quirky design and friendly staff like Mohan and Sherbas, made me feel right at home. Despite a brief power outage, the proximity to the beach and local markets added to the charm. I even got to enjoy a private violin performance by Mohan! A memorable stay, highly recommended.

The delicious smoked salmon at the on-site restaurant had me hooked! I loved exploring nearby dining gems like Dilbar Chaat and Kerala Hotel Restaurant. the hostel's architecture workspace vibe was inspiring, and meeting fellow travelers made for a vibrant stay.
The only cheeky gripe would be the desire for more washrooms and hot water on demand. Despite this, the Design Ashram shone brightly with its cozy ambiance and friendly caretaker, Sherbas, always ready to assist.

I always return for stay at the cozy place that helped me with plug adaptors. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, Cookware, Outdoor dining, Restaurant. Coming back for holiday.
